06/07/2024: Regional Shuttle - new reservation system by ITM (same software as Greyhound & Premier).
07/07/2024: Regional Shuttle - The Armidale School (TAS) has been added to the reservation system. No surcharge. Other Armidale schools are available on request (subject to $10 off-route surcharge).

01/01/2025: Dorrigo Transit continues to support community radio 2BBB and 2ARM-FM. We wish them a successful 2025.
03/02/2025: Regional Shuttle - Coffs Harbour Southern Cross University stop added.
28/04/2025: Regional Shuttle - DT12 was designed to get Dorrigo, Thora and Bellingen passengers to Urunga for XPT36. This train has now been cancelled for the next year while it gets refurbished. The replacement coach in that time slot does not stop at Urunga. We suggest waiting for the mid-morning train XPT32 at 11:28 am.
26/04/2025: On Demand - Minimum fare from Dorrigo has increased to $30. The previous $25 minimum fare was unsustainable.
01/05/2025: DT18 / DT19 (Byron Bay) will now operate on the first two Mondays of each month. Demand is not currently there for a weekly service. A small price increase for stops north of Woolgoolga. Weekly service for months of Dec 2025 and Jan 2026.
22/09/2025: On Demand - Until further notice we won't use the Grafton Road from Tyringham to Grafton. The road is severely damaged and does not meet our safety standards.
05/11/2025: Regional Shuttle - Bookings now open until 28/02/2026. More dates will be added later.
06/11/2025: Regional Shuttle - We have had recent questions about bringing along animals. As covered elsewhere on the website, we take registered service animals (as per regulations). As for other animals it's a no. We may under certain circumstances be able to approve a small pet in a spill-proof animal cage. This cage would go in the luggage area at the rear or the car or bus.
06/11/2025: Regional Shuttle - We have had many recent requests for concession fares. This service has been unable to get any government assistance despite trying again this year. We have no possible sustainable way to sell tickets below cost. Instead, we offer everyone the lowest possible fare that still allows us to pay our input costs including vehicles, insurance, fuel and government charges.
