20/11/2023: NSW Regional Transport Grant declined. This means we still can't offer concessional fares. We are very disappointed but will continue to offer the lowest possible prices on this vital transport corridor.
12/06/2024: Regional Shuttle DT3 and DT11 service timetable amendment. Now 10 mins earlier.
06/07/2024: Regional Shuttle - new reservation system by ITM (same software as Greyhound & Premier).
07/07/2024: Regional Shuttle - The Armidale School (TAS) has been added to the reservation system. No surcharge. Other Armidale schools are available on request (subject to $10 off-route surcharge).
06/07/2024: Reminder that all Dorrigo Transit services must be pre booked. By 7:00 pm the evening prior is recommended.
01/01/2025: Dorrigo Transit continues to support community radio 2BBB and 2ARM-FM. We wish them a successful 2025.
03/02/2025: Regional Shuttle - Coffs Harbour Southern Cross University stop added.
07/02/2025: Regional Shuttle - DT18 / DT19 new service trial (Mondays) Dorrigo to Byron Bay. Trial extended to the end of April 2025. (No service on Monday 21/04/2025).
22/03/2025: Regional Shuttle - bookings now open until 30/09/2025. More dates will be added later.
24/03/2025: Regional Shuttle - Ballina Airport available on request on DT18 / DT19.
25/04/2025: Regional Shuttle - Yes, we operate as normal on Anzac Day.
28/04/2025: Regional Shuttle - DT12 was designed to get Dorrigo, Thora and Bellingen passengers to Urunga for XPT36. This train has now been cancelled for the next year while it gets refurbished. The replacement coach in that timeslot does not stop at Urunga. We suggest waiting for the mid-morning train XPT32 at 11:28 am.
26/04/2025: On Demand - Minimum fare from Dorrigo has increased to $30. The previous $25 minimum fare was unsustainable.
01/05/2025: DT18 / DT19 (Byron Bay) will now operate on the first two Mondays of each month. Demand is not currently there for a weekly service. A small price increase for stops north of Woolgoolga has been loaded on the timetable PDF but may not be reflected yet on the booking engine. Enjoy the lower price while it's there.
16/06/2025 : Dorrigo Transit annual shutdown - no services from Monday 16th to Sunday 29th June inclusive.
